ADMINISTRATIVE AND LABORATORY-AMENITY COMPLEX OF LENINGRAD NPP-2

The complex includes a Laboratory-amenity building, an Administrative building and a Canteen.

The projected complex is located within the boundaries of Leningrad NPP-2 under construction in the Leningrad region, Lomonosov district, Sosnovy Bor, Industrial Zone, Leningrad NPP-2 site.

Laboratory-amenity building

The projected Laboratory-amenity building is a four-storey frame building with a basement made in the form of an arc.
The basement provides for the placement of a protected NPP emergency action control station and civil defense shelters (CD) for 100 people.

Radiation control premises (Radiation control system metrology laboratory)

The ground floor of the Laboratory-amenity building has production premises of communication, electrical engineering facilities, laboratories and workshops, utility rooms for outside persons, medical suite and technical facilities.
The total number of outside persons is 355: 285 -male and 70 – female.

The second floor has Command and Control System production premises, central control console premises, utility rooms for outside persons in the left part of the building and the general station chemical laboratory in the right end side.

The third floor has utility rooms for outside persons in the left part of the building, conference-event hall for 500 seats in the central part and metrology laboratory premises. Second and third floors are connected with the administrative building and with the canteen by pedestrian galleries.

The fourth floor is occupied by electrical engineering Laboratories (left side of the building) and Command and Control System laboratory premises. The right end side is occupied with the Industrial and sanitary laboratory area of special protection and Industrial and sanitary laboratory Sanitary and Epidemiological Center laboratory premises.

Technology for Dressing-shower unit maintenance provides for the collection and disposal of workwear packed into containers twice a day (without long-term storage in the storeroom).

Administrative building

The projected administrative building is an eight-storey frame building with a basement.
The basement of the building provides for the placement of technical premises (water pipeline inlet units, heating unit), and premises of the archive.
The ground floor of the building has a spacious hall with a cloakroom intended for staff of the administrative building and visitors of the conference hall located in the laboratory and amenity building, meeting room, Public Information Center, Registry, Human Resources, bathrooms, technical premises.

The second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh floors are occupied with the staff offices and offices of Leningrad NPP administration, accounting, financial services group, offices of technical service executives, bathrooms, technical premises.

Second and third floors are connected with the Laboratory-amenity building and with the canteen by pedestrian galleries.
The number of staff of the administrative building is 150 employees.

Canteen

The projected canteen is a three-storey frame building, with a basement.

The basement of the building provides for the placement of technical premises.

The ground floor of the canteen has an entrance hall with cloakroom and bathrooms for visitors, medical suite, production shops (vegetable, meat and fish), storage rooms and cold rooms, head of production office, accounting room with a cashier, utility rooms for the staff, technical premises.

The second floor has a dietary food hall for 50 seats, a dining hall for 280 seats, a snack bar, canteen production premises (hot and cold shop, pastry shop, a room for storage and cutting of bread, canting and kitchen utensils washing rooms), bathrooms for staff and visitors.

The third floor is occupied with a management dining room, a banquet hall for 30 seats, administrative offices (offices of dietitian, canteen head, deputy head of production, administrator) bathrooms for staff and visitors, technical premises.

The canteen operates on raw materials, the number of employees is 51, which included: production staff - 46 (24 people in the most intensive shift), management personnel - 5. Working mode - 2 shifts.
